Join Regie Cabico for a nature poetry workshop (via private zoom room) Saturday January 23 3:00-4:15pm.
Attendees will write poems inspired by the Anacostia River and find ways to look at nature and the works of poets Shuntaro Tanikawa, Langston Hughes, Dan Pagis and more. We will fuse imagery with facts to write our ode to Maryland’s iconic estuary. This workshop is for adults 18 and up. All levels of writers welcome.
Attendees should come prepared to read poetry aloud, and generate a new poem.
Participation is limited: please email email@example.com by Saturday January 23, 2021 by 12pm noon to confirm your slot and receive access to the zoom room; rsvp on facebook.
